ZACK KOTWICA had an afternoon to remember as he struck a hat-trick for Gloucester City in a showstopping performance, with Luke Hopper capping off a comfortable victory over a limp Alfreton Town.
Tim Harris’ men enjoyed a dream start to the match. Hopper, not giving up on the ball, powered to the byline and lashed a pass across for Kotwica to smash home from six yards.
The Tigers kept up the pressure in the second half and some intricate play by Joe Hanks, Kotwica and Hopper ended with Hopper beating the offside trap but shooting wide.
