HORNCHURCHlost star player Abs Thompson early on but still overcame Norwich United.
Norwich had the better of the first half with shots from Adam Hipperson and Jamie Speller.
Hornchurch had three first-half chances from Martin Tuohy, Ross Wall and John Easterford.
But there were no goals until the 58th minute when a long clearance by Sam Mott was flicked to Ozzy Adeniji, whose lengthy run culminated in an excellent centre for Tuohy to score.
Hornchurch doubled their lead eight minutes later when Tuohy pounced on a free-kick.
