ENFIELD kept their slim playoff hopes alive with this hard-earned victory over league leaders Bognor. In the third minute, home striker Dernell Wynter found himself through on goal but Rocks keeper Dan Lincoln saved.
And the Towners had a host of further early chances, Mark Kirby, Karl Oliyide and Scott Shulton all having efforts. In-between Jimmy Wild was off target for the Rocks.
Doug Tuck’s effort was deflected to safety and a Gary Charman header was saved. But the decisive goal arrived on the half hour mark.
