COMINGS AND GOINGS OF DEADLINE DAY

THERE was no Jim White, no yellow ticker fanfare or reporters flanked by over-excited teenagers screeching unmentionable ‘funnies’ down the camera, but Non-League’s transfer deadline day was packed with plenty of excitement.
Sky Sports may not have been interested in the goings on, but supporters certainly were as clubs stocked up their squads to get ready for the final furlong as the season enters its last five weeks.
