NORTHERN LEAGUE
■MORPETH TOWN earned another three points, on a day Wembleybound South Shields moved a step closer to the title.
The third-placed side recovered from a goal down to win 3-1 at Seaham Red Star, with Keith Graydon scoring two, including one from the spot, and Ben Sayer also on target.
Chris Winn, meanwhile, cancelled out Billy Greulich-Smith’s superb chip as Jarrow Roofing held Shildon to a 1-1 draw.
At the bottom, Steve Roberts’ solo effort handed Guisborough Town a fourth straight win as they beat troubled West Allotment Celtic 1-0.
