DARLINGTON moved up to fourth with a convincing victory over Alfreton – despite being told by the National League that they will not be eligible to participate in the promotion play-offs.
Darlington manager Martin Gray praised his side’s travelling supporters: “We’ve had a tough week as a football club, there’s no question about it.
