CURZON ASHTON gave their fans a display to take heart from during the off-season by beating Boston United.
The Nash started well and got the goal they deserved on 22 minutes.
Following a corner, the ball was played back to Joe Guest, who picked out Jonathon Hunt at the back post to head home.
Boston grabbed a lifeline before half-time when Daniel Shaw’s attempted clearance sliced off his foot and flew past Curzon keeper Hakan Burton.
