NIGEL EMERY has been sacked as manager of Selby Town following his bizarre twitter tirade – against his own club!
His 14 months in charge is over after the board of the Northern Counties East League club decided his social media outburst was unacceptable.
In messages now deleted, he claimed he was sacked over the phone on Tuesday night and criticised the Robins committee and claimed the club was “poorly run”.
Emery hit back at his firing after the Robins finished the season unbeaten in nine games.
