THE WORTHIANS SET THEIR SIGHTS HIGH

AMBITIOUS Highworth Town are aiming for the Southern League.
The Hellenic Premier outfit are to ask Swindon Borough Council for planning permission to upgrade their headquarters at The Elms.
An £80,000 project will see the changing rooms upgraded, a turnstile installed and a new community room established.
The club will also erect a fence to fully enclose the ground during the season.
Officials recently met with the local town council to discuss their plans. If the borough council gives the green light, the club could start work on the ground by June, with a view to having it complete...
