THIS disappointing season opener won’t live long in the memory and the sides will know they will have to up their games as the season goes on.
The first half was devoid of major incident but the home fans were smiling seven minutes after the resumption when a flowing move ended with Montel Agyemang drilling the ball into the roof of the net from close range. The lead lasted seven minutes when the referee adjudged Max Cornhill to have handed in the box and Michael Kamara cheekily clipped home the penalty.
