Super-sub strikes as Saints make strides

ST ALBANS made it three wins on the bounce with this victory at Clarence Park.
Sam Merson opened the scoring in the 16th minute. Zane Banton picked the ball up in midfield and travelled towards the edge of the box before playing it into the path of Merson, who struck a powerful effort past Luke Purnell.
Weston, however, found themselves level seven minutes later when Solomon Sambou was adjudged to have blocked a Danny Greenslade cross inside the area with his arm. Dayle Grubb stepped up and confidently put the spot-kick away.
