CLITHEROE were sliced apart by a rampant Scarborough, with new signing Max Wright almost unplayable.
On 11 minutes Wright was fouled on the right and from the free kick a clearance was poked home by Nathan Valentine.
On 22 minutes a deep cross from the right fell to Michael Coulson and he slotted home.
Three minutes later Wright surged down the right wing held off the defender and drove it in.
The second half was more even and Scarborough’s Thomas Taylor made a goalline clearance from a Brad Carole header.
