A SUPERB strike from Egham Town defender Ryan Phillips secured the three points for the Sarnies in a very tight match.
Yet it was the visitors who took the lead as, in a poor first half, Egham continually failed to take advantage of a string of decent attacks, all of them involving Matty Woods.
After 58 minutes, Brad Woods-Gaines drilled a 20-yarder past Egham keeper Patrick Ohman.
Handling in the box by Romayne Marsh-Brown gave Brendan Matthew the chance for an equaliser from the spot, however.
And Phillips was the unlikely Egham hero.
