TWO excellent goals sealed the points for Paulton.
Rovers keeper Andy Hannah returned for his first game of the season and his side got off to a great start in the second minute. A long cross by Joe Guest was laid off by Joe Hillard to Kailan Gould who hit a superb halfvolley past Kevin Sawyer.
On the half-hour Evesham nearly levelled as Matt Liddard’s header was turned for a corner by Sam Hedges.
In another chance, Adam Mann hit the post with a 20-yard free-kick.
United had a great chance on 46 minutes as Peel blasted over the bar.
But Paulton made it 2-0 on 74 minutes ...
