BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT picked up their first win at Bostik Premier level thanks to a wonderful stoppage-time winner from substitute Phil Kelly.
An even but dour first half saw Zak Joseph go close with a looping header that went just over the top for the visitors, while Billy Hunt had the hosts’ best chance with a low snap shot that drew an excellent reaction save from Tom Lovelock.
The second half was far more action packed, with the Greens missing a golden opportunity to go ahead when Kezie Ibe was upended in the penalty area.
