DEREHAM made it three league wins on the trot.
Danny Beaumont hit a dipping volley over the visitors bar in the eighth minute.
Sudbury were denied the opener in the 34th minute when home keeper Elliot Pride made a fantastic double save to keep out David Cowley and Adam Mills close range efforts.
Dereham opened the scoring in the 52nd minute through Ashley Jarvis.
Julian Smith was red carded on 69 minutes and Danny Beaumont fired home the resulting penalty to make it 2-0.
