■SITTINGBOURNE sub John Coker scored the winning goal on his home debut, heading home Chris Elliott’s 84th-minute corner.
They led three times but VCD twice levelled through Kemo Darboe and in the end were unlucky.
Sittingbourne took the lead after a minute, Bola Dawodu heading in Elliott’s pinpoint cross.
Darboe squeezed the ball in at the far post for the equaliser five minutes later.
The home side regained the lead in the 54th minute when VCD captain Derek Duncan diverted a cross past his own keeper.
