STOURBRIDGE let slip their chance to go top when they drew a blank against a stubborn City side who could have easily snatched victory. City’s goal led a charmed life in the first half as Stourbridge applied sustained pressure.
Leon Broadhurst blazed over City’s goal on 13 minutes from a corner and then hit the post on 22 minutes, again from a Tom Tonks corner, before the ball was scrambled clear.
From the resulting corner, City goalkeeper Josh Powell blocked a goalbound shot from Stourbridge defender Jack Duggan.
