ST NEOTS welcomed back former record striker Tom Meechan on loan and he announced his return with a fifth minute goal before going on to score a significant second goal after the break.

Slough, unbeaten away from home this season, seemed shocked by St Neots’ level of confidence.

The visitors got off to a lucky start when a fourth minute penalty award for an innocuous challenge by Ryan Horne saw Chris Flood’s penalty parried but he followed up to put the Rebels ahead.
