BANBURY UTD 2 SHILDON 3

■ ADAM VERNICLE scored two as Shildon progressed to the next round of the FA Cup.
Banbury took the lead on 29 minutes when the ball ran to the edge of the area and Tom Winters fired home from 25 yards.
But Shildon were soon back on terms when leading goalscorer Vernicle fired home from 10 yards three minutes later.
They took the lead on 57 minutes when playermanager Dan Moore headed home over Jack Harding’s head and they doubled their advantage less than 10 minutes later through Vernicle again.
