STAMFORD once again couldn’t put the game to bed and paid the price for not finding the net.
After a string of chances, the Daniels took the lead as Jon Challinor’s corner was knocked down to Rob Morgan who turned and curled the ball into the top corner.
Newcastle’s best chance of the first half came from a corner with Dan Haystead saving pointblank range from Will Bailey. Newcastle did equalise midway through the second half, when James Lee’s free kick was headed in by Luke Askey.
