HOPSON IS SPOT ON FOR SIXY SPARTANS

DALE HOPSON netted a hat-trick, two of which came from the penalty spot, as Blyth Spartans prevailed in a nine-goal thriller against Nuneaton Town.
Dan Maguire hit a brace for the free-scoring Spartans with David McTiernan also on target and Jordan Laidler saw red for Blyth.
It was visiting Boro who opened the scoring, as Ashley Chambers broke the deadlock in the 18th minute.
Two goals in three minutes turned the game on its head as Maguire equalised on 37 minutes before Hopson put Spartans ahead from the spot.
