LEISTON went top after eventually overcoming an injury and suspension-ravaged Wanderers with two second-half goals.
The unbeaten Suffolk outfit took advantage of big-spending Billericay’s FA Cup diversions and Dulwich’s draw at Staines to go a point clear at the Bostik summit.
They created a number of early chances and Wanderers keeper Josh Pelling pulled off a fabulous save in the first half.
After absorbing the early pressure, the home side started to get some possession and created some chances of their own, Giuseppe Sole and James McShane both went very close...
