GLOUCESTER slipped up in ludicrous conditions at the Jubilee Stadium, despite one of their best team displays of the season.
With a lot of the play coming against them, Welling were doing well to limit City to long-range strikes as Tom Webb and Ed Williams fired wide from distance.
The best of all the speculative shots came from Jack Storer, though, as he dropped his shoulder and came inside on to his right foot, before powerfully shooting only for Barnes to tip over.
