O’BOY! IT’S ALL CHANGE

STEVE O’BOYLE has stepped down as manager of Phoenix Sports after over five years in charge of the London club.
O’Boyle led Sports to promotion from both the Step 6 Kent Invicta League and Southern Counties East Division before consolidating at Step 4 with two seasons in Ryman North, finishing 14th and eighth respectively.
Sports, who also reached the last 16 of the FA Vase and third qualifying round of the FA Cup in that time, are in the hunt for a play-off place, lying 10th in Bostik South before O’Boyle surprisingly quit this week.
