■MOLESEYshipped four goals in a home defeat to Guernsey in midweek and came into this game determined to tighten up at the back. In that, at least, they were successful with the home side stifled for most of the game.
Despite their efforts at the back and a monopoly on possession, Molesey failed to test the Herne Bay back four in what was an easy afternoon for the Bay. Herne belatedly got their attacking game together but Molesey keeper Liam Allen made sure of a share of the points.
