FIRST-HALF goals from Andy Teague and Marcus Carver eased Chorley to victory.
Leamington created only one clear chance, spurned by Liam Canavan who contrived to shoot wide of an open goal when teed up by Kieran Dunbar’s run and precise centre. Chorley fashioned and missed several openings, notably when Josh O’Keefe fired over from eight yards with the goal beckoning.
But the home pressure finally paid five minutes before the interval, Andy Teague rising above the defence to power home a header from Adam Blakeman’s excellent free-kick.
