SLOUGH TOWN 2 BISHOP’S STORTFORD 4

BISHOP’S Stortford inflicted a rare home defeat on a Slough side who finished the game with nine men.
Despite Slough’s early dominance, Stortford took the lead with Afolabi Akinyem’s header taking a massive deflection off Sean Fraser, which beat Jack Turner in goal.
Slough missed several chances to level with Nathan Smart seeing an effort cleared off the line and Chris Flood heading wide.
Turner then made a crucial save to deny Darren Foxley as Stortford broke away before Slough scored a deserved equaliser five minutes before the break via James Dobson.
