THESE two old Southern League rivals clashed for the first time in almost five years, the Glassboys edging Leamington with an early second half goal from former Brakes midfielder Matty Dodd.
Brakes threatened first, Kieran Dunbar’s corner forcing Matt Gould to push the ball out from under his crossbar. When the ball was played back in Jack Edwards nodded it back into the six-yard box to present Jamie Hood with a tap in on the line, only for Gould and Aris Christophorou to somehow keep it out.
