WEMBLEY CONFLICT ON LOGO

WEMBLEY FC chairman Brian Gumm says the support from across Non-League football has been the only positive to come out of their logo dispute with the Football Association and Wembley Stadium.
Wembley National Stadium Limited, a subsidiary of the FA, say the Spartan South Midlands League club’s badge – which features a lion beneath the name Wembley – could be confused with the stadium and other brands like Club Wembley by the Englishspeaking public.
The FA say that because Wembley FC registered their logo in countries outside of the UK, they had to act.
