DARRYL Knights’ late strike rescued a point for Tamworth against play-off chasing York.
Aiden Connolly had looked like handing the Minstermen all three points from a lively encounter, but a draw was a fair result.
Tamworth started well and Luke Jones saw a header cleared off the line by Connor Brown on 16 minutes.
Sam Newton headed wide for the visitors while, at the other end, Knights’ incisive pass was hooked over the bar by Bradley Reid.
Knights then teed up a chance for Tom Shaw, but he struck his effort wide before Lambs keeper Jack Stevens tipped Connor Smith’s risin...
