FC UNITED and Chorley played out a goalless draw on Friday evening.
Neither team took the initiative in the game and the only chances of any real note came from long distance and never really troubled either of the goalkeepers.
The Red Rebels were without their influential midfielder Steve Irwin and this showed throughout the evening as the midfield looked solid but not creative over the course of the game.
