YORK City community coach and former player Tom Allan denied his employers maximum points with an equalising header for part-timers Alfreton.
Left-back Allan grabbed his seventh goal of the season to cancel out Simon Heslop’s early goal for the hosts.
Ex- Luton and Wrexham midfielder Heslop netted on five minutes when he fired across the face of Viktor Johansson’s goal into the bottom corner after being played through the right channel by Aidan Connolly’s quickly- taken free kick.
