TWO well-taken strikes from Lee Hughes was the difference as Halesowen put three past Nantwich Town.
The visitors took the lead after 11 minutes as Ivor Lawton was played in by Hughes, and a looping effort seemed as though it was going to be high of Dabbers’ keeper Myles Boney’s goal, but the ball bizarrely dipped back down and beat Boney to give Halesowen an early lead.
