CONCORD were sharp out the traps and really should have taken the lead when Rob Girdlestone made ground before cutting back to captain Steve Cawley who scuffed a golden opportunity.
Hampton carried an obvious threat but it was the beachboys with another good chance, Lewis Taaffe this time, dragging his shot just wide of the upright.
The Beachboys saw a hot penalty shout denied as Taaffe was grounded by Joshua Casey, before the visitors went up the other end and almost took the lead.
