■ CHELMSFORD secured third place and a home semi-final with a ruthless second half display after surviving early pressure from Eastbourne Borough. Scott Fenwick’s brace and a late header from skipper Anthony Church fully earned the points for the Clarets.
Yet the Sports looked more likely to score in the opening half hour, with Lloyd Dawes in particular almost unplayable.
