Jake Robinson has certainly paid back his transfer fee this season.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion striker signed for Billericay from Hemel Hempstead in March last year for £24,000, an eye-watering amount for a Non-League club to spend.
But the 31-yearold has lived up to the hefty fee and has bagged 52 goals this season across the Bostik League, FA Cup and FA Trophy. He broke Leon Gutzmore’s 20-year record of 51 goals in a season for Ricay with five games of the season remaining!
