WOODHAMS LIFTS BARUM

PETER Woodhams has been appointed as the new chairman of Barnstaple Town.
And in his very first role in the job, Woodhams confirmed that the club will continue to play in the Southern League next season, despite enduring two financially-challenging years at the level.
A statement read: “We did discuss dropping down a couple of levels into the Peninsula League next season but it was felt by the committee that this would be taking the easy option.”
