CHARD Town have been given a year by the FA to find a new home – or be booted out of the Toolstation Western League.
The FA have given the Robins a year’s grace to relocate from their Zembard Lane ground and its notorious sloping pitch, which has failed grading standards.
It had been thought that Chard would be relegated to the Somerset County League.
Club chairman Lyndsey Gage said that discussions about a move were in prog ress. “I can’t say too much at the moment,” he said.
