A LITTLE tale for all the Football League players downhearted at the prospect of going out on loan to a Non-League club, if Pickford, Pope and Vardy aren’t enough inspiration.
While I was chairman at St Albans City, our manager David Howell took a right-back on loan from Queens Park Rangers, then managed by friend of Non-League Neil Warnock, by the name of Michael Harriman.
