BLYTH Spartans have lost their element of surprise but they can still flourish in the National League North.
That’s the verdict of striker Dan Maguire after the Northumberland outfit finished in tenth position in theirfirst season back at Step 2 for five years.
Alun Armstrong’s side flirted with a play-off challenge but injuries and inconsistent form meant that they missed out on a top-seven spotby four points, despite taking their challenge to the final day.
