TIVERTON TOWN won on the opening day of the season for the first time in ten years at newly promoted Swindon Supermarine.
The hosts had some pressure as Joe Selman fired over in the tenth minute while Tivvy’s Michael Landricombe saw his header saved by Josh Hill.
Tom Bath then shot wide for the visitors from Josh Key’s cross before Liam Armstrong saved to keep Tiverton level.
Swindon’s Stuart Fleetwood then saw his effort hit the side netting with some of the home fans thinking it had gone in.
