TRURO headed back down the M5 after securing a commanding victory at Gloucester City with strikes from Tyler Harvey and Ben Harding.
In an uneventful first quarter, striker Harvey had the first half-chance, with his snapshot inside the box easily saved by Mark Yates.
Gloucester could have taken the lead with Joe Hanks playing in Jake Mawford, who dummied for winger Joe Parker, but he could only direct a weak effort at stopper Jojo Wollacott.
