ATHERTON COLLIERIES 1 KIDSGROVE ATHLETIC 2

A HEATED FA Cup fixture between the Colls and Kidsgrove was ultimately won by a header.
Kidsgrove raced into the lead four minutes into the second half as Lee Williams chipped Colls’ goalkeeper Morgan Bacon.
Twenty minutes later, Athletic were 2-0 up courtesy of the aforementioned header, which saw Colls manager Michael Clegg sent off by the referee. Jordan Cole headed a floating cross goal bound.
Collieries pressured and Luke Giverin slotted home in the 93rd minute but it was Kidsgrove who progressed.
