Meikle completes unlikely comeback

BASFORD United came from two goals down to beat Workington. Connor Tinnion gave Workington a second-minute lead, winning the ball and giving Kieran Preston no chance.
Basford responded and visiting keeper Aaron Taylor tipped over a Kieren Fenton free-kick on nine minutes. Matty Douglas then blocked Nat Watson’s goalbound shot.
Tinnion then curled a freekick against the post and Douglas doubled Workingtons's lead by heading in a corner on 28 minutes.
Basford reduced the arrears ten minutes from the break, Liam Hearn scoring from close range.
