GERRING ENSURES WOKING MAKE IT THROUGH

A LATE goal from Ben Gerring proved enough for Woking to knock ten-men Welling United out of the FA Cup.
Woking were made to dig deep as they had to produce a battling and professional performance to see off Welling.
Julien Anua’s harsh early second half dismissal made a big difference after Welling had enjoyed the better of a tight first half.
Although the Wings had the territorial advantage they struggled to created many clear cut chances. One excellent team move gave Anau an opportunity from wide but he shot across the face of goal.
