DEBUTANT goalkeeper Andrew Coughlin produced a string of fine saves to earn Bay a point.
The first half burst into life just before the interval when Trafford striker Aaron Burns was denied by a great lastditch tackle by Will Bell and Coughlin saved brilliantly to thwart Jimmy Moore.
Coughlin pushed a low drive by Burns past the upright in the 58th minute and an amazing goalmouth scramble saw Burns, Mark Derbyshire and Liam Ellis all seeing their close-range efforts blocked.
