GLOUCESTER CITY 1
WELLING UNITED extended their unbeaten league run with a welldeserved victory over Gloucester that took them to top of the table.
The Wings went ahead with just three minutes on the clock when Nassim L’Ghoul crossed from the left, Matt Paterson knocked it down and Brendan Kiernan hooked home.
After that they controlled most of the first half and could have gone further ahead but for Tigers keeper Adam Przybek’s outstanding reaction save from Adam Coombes, who got on the end of L’Ghoul’s low cross.
