BROOKS HAS POOLE BACK IN THE FLOW

POOLE followed up their FA Cup defeat with a late victory in the FA Trophy first qualifying round against Frome.
Poole dominated the first half but took until injury time to take the lead, a clever move involving Sam Griffin and Marvin Brooks creating spce for Jez Bedford, who neatly found the net from the edge of the box.
Against the run of play, Frome equalised when a cross deflected off Will Spetch to beat Luke Cairney at the near post, and they continued to look more dangerous on the counter, Cairney having to be at his best.
