PAUL CLAYTONmissed two superb second-half chances to give Guiseley three points at Darlington.
The two sides came into the contest occupying the 13th and 14th positions and remain there after a drab encounter.
Little of note occurred, particularly during a first half in which Darlington lost striker Simon Ainge to injury.
A clash of heads with Andrew Halls led to the striker leaving the pitch with a head wound that required stitches, and without a physical presence up front, Quakers struggled to threaten.
